Since 2 wire smoke detectors are only connected to PGM 2, the programming for them is very straightforward.

• Enter programming with *8 followed by the installer code.
• Enter section 009.
• The first 2 numbers that appear here are for PGM 1. We don’t need to change these so you can push the right arrow key twice to scroll to PGM 2.
• Here we’ll enter 04 for the 2 wire smoke PGM definition.
• Press # to exit out of programming.
  

Keep in mind that all 2 wire smoke detectors must be wired in parallel to PGM 2 and Aux +.
